Father & Son Young and Old

When I walked into this alleyway just off Yonge Street, I was struck by the convergence of what was old Toronto and what was the emergence of new buidings.  To me this alleyway signified a time tunnel as if I were looking into the future.  I set up my shot and gazed through my lens as father and son entered my shot.  At first, I thought I would wait for them to exit my frame, but then I realized that they truly embodied the story I was trying to tell with this image.  I will never know what they were discussing, or who they were, or even where they were going that Sunday morning, but I’m grateful that our paths crossed.
