Guardian Angel

Swan Lake Christmas Hill Nature Sanctuary is a nature reserve located in Saanich, British Columbia just outside of downtown Victoria. Some of what the sanctuary includes is a lake and adjacent marshy lowlands and during our visit on January 6, 2022, Victoria had snow and cold temperatures freezing the lake enough for this Trumpeter Swan to stand on the ice flapping her wings portraying to me what looks like Angel Wings and "Guardian Angel" seemed like a fitting for my photograph of this bird.
