This particular place has had a significance influence in my life. This was the first place my father took me when he purchased his first Pentax 35mm film camera. The flowers were in full bloom here at Edwards Gardens located at Don Mills Road and Lawrence Avenue. I was about 12 years of age and I remember him pointing out the many different plants and of course I, at that time, did not understand his fascination with it but I did enjoy seeing his photos after. I think that this is the reason why he went out and purchased my first camera 4 years later for my 16th birthday. A Yashica 35mm film camera. Many years have passed now but when I got back into photography with my DSLR I had to make my way back to where it all began. One last thing the other significance influence of Edwards Gardens is that this is where my life began with my amazingly beautiful wife and photography partner Karen. We had our wedding photos done in this stunning palatial park filled with colour. As the circle of life continues. This image was shot at f/4, ISO100, shutter speed 1/1000th of a second. I hope you enjoy this image!
Such a great experience as Karen took the time to tell us of what it took to photograph the egret and why this picture was so meaningful to her. Bright, cheery environment at the studio. Was so glad we wandered in. Love the photo of the egret
We love Rob and Karen Photography’s distinct style, and the variety of prints in their collection. We ordered the Lifeguard Kew Beach print in particular, as the location holds sentimental value for us. We love having the beautiful print up on our wall, and opted the High Gloss metal option. Highly recommend!
These TTC photos were a must have. For years it has been sitting at the side of Hwy 6. They are now gone, but thanks to Karen and Bob, we get to enjoy them in our home. Thank you both again for sharing your talent. ♥️
I am absolutely pleased with every purchase I have made. You capture the perfect moments at the right time. Looking forward to future purchases. Already have my eye on a couple. 😊
Karen and Bob's photographs are second to none!!
This photo in particular is both vibrant and real. It felt like the chairs were sitting there just waiting for special people to sit in them. It will be the star piece of artwork in my new sunroom!
I was so excited to be a winner! Absolutely love my new canvas photo from your collection! I so enjoyed looking through your gallery of photos. You both take such beautiful and inspirational pics. It was a tough decision to pick one! I am so pleased with it.
I ordered the the print “Time To Relax on the pillow and the canvas to match for a spare bedroom. I wanted to create calm in that bedroom . This picture was taken on Vancouver Island and is a favourite spot - calm and serene. The image quality on both is amazing. I have had many compliments and I plan to order more for Christmas gifts. I also plan to order Sherringham Lighthouse on a canvas to complement the “Blue Chair”. Highly recommend. Check out all the images. You can’t go wrong!
