In the Wind

I was fortunate to experience the untamed spirit of Salt River Wild Horses in the Tonto National Forest in Arizona.  A Wild Horse brings vitality and freedom in on its galloping hooves.  The Salt River Wild Horses roam freely in their 20,000 acre habitat, protected by A.R.S 3-1491, the State law passed in 2016 for their protection. They are the icon of the wild, free spirit of Arizona and the American West.  While in the hills I was able to get a photo of these two Stallions galloping towards me in their protected habitat.
