It Takes Two

The Salt River Wild Horses travel around in small bands of 20 or so horses on the same trails in the Tonto National Forest and often come together at the river. I witnessed these two beautiful creatures leaving the river and heading back into the Tonto National Forest after getting a drink.  They are the icon of the Wild West and roam wild and free in their 20,000-acre protected habitat.
