Roads End Valley Of Fire

The Valley of Fire is just that.  Karen and I visited the location during the winter because its much cooler.  The day we drove to the valley by mid-day the heat was over 105 degrees.  Even with a dry heat it can still be a major concern.  We did short hikes that day no more than 15mins in the sun.  Of course, we stayed very, very well hydrated as we ventured around this amazing state park in Nevada.
