Sunset at Amphitrite

Amphitrite Point Lighthouse located in Ucluelet on the west coast of Vancouver Island in British Columbia.  A lighthouse is the light that crosses darkness, and the light that comes into the dark world symbolizes hope. Lighthouses have traditionally been viewed as symbols of hope and security.  As beacons of light, they provide guidance for safe passage to sailors and protect not only their lives but the land nearby.
